D’Tigers has remained the highest ranked team on the FIBA ranking which was released on the 1st of March 2018 after the team won all their 2019 World cup qualifying games in Mali last week to retain their 32 ranking in the world.
Though Angola all three qualifying games last month to drop four spots on the world stage to rank 37 and 3rd in 3rd in Africa. Tunisia also dropped six spots to rank 52 and fourth in Africa. Morocco wasn’t left-out as they dropped three spots to rank 64 in the and 6th in Africa.
