Following the latest FIBA power ranking, Nigeria has been placed as the fourth-best team of the 12 countries that will be featuring at the Olympics behind Spain and the USA.
The power ranking is determined by dividing the sum of all the winning points, tie points, schedule points, and bonus points by the number of games played.
According to power ranking, Australia is at the No.1 spot, Spain was second-placed and the USA ranked third while Nigeria Fourth, Slovenia Fifth, France sixth, Italy Seventh and Lastly Argentina Eight.
